This was a weird week. We had snow and ice, then lovely weather, then snow and ice. Needless to say, it threw my week WAY out of whack, and made it incredibly difficult to stay on my challenge.
My husband also had the flu this week, and both of us have been taking Tamiflu. He’s on the mend, and I still have another 5 days of meds to take to keep from getting it. I’m not sure exactly how that works…but it is what it is right?!
The unfortunate part of everything I have just shared means several things didn’t happen this week. I didn’t have a lot of photos to take of the lunches I made (when I was at work). I also did not take photos yesterday of me, because quite frankly, I felt like I was hit by a 2 x 4 between the eyes and spent most of the day either snoozing in bed, or on the couch. YAY for the side effects of medicine.
I stayed about the same weight wise, although I am starting to notice some changes in my body. My shirts are starting to get baggy through the shoulder and breast area, is it just me or do all women lose weight in the boobs first? Just saying… I am also noticing that my sides are toning in some, and best of all, I am still not suffering TOO much from back pain, although it does crop up here and there.
I tried to hit my 10k step goal on the Fitbit Saturday, and didn’t make it. I did go far over my normal daily steps, so that was good, but 10k is a lot for me. I think it’s going to require some leg toning on the bike first and then possibly a long hike to get it finished! On a bright note, I did manage to make a major dent in some house cleaning (lots of moving around there), and I am feeling better about my home, which was seriously out of control.
So, unfortunately, this week is a short and sweet entry because my routine was demolished. However, on the bright side, I have some pretty rocking posts I was able to write while I was off work with weirdo weather, so make sure you check in this week.
